iIt was excellent every minute. The fact we did NOT have to drive in this very busy area made it even better.

I had a lot of fun on this tour and got to see some things I never thought I would. I really enjoyed seeing the monuments in Washington, especially seeing the Declaration of Independence. I also enjoying going to the Greenbrier and colonial Williamsburg. I learned so much about our country’s history on my tour. It was very special. I would highly recommend if you like history!

The Greenbrier Bunker Tour was awesome. Such an interesting part of American history. I am continuing to read the books that describe the history and personalities surrounding the Greenbrier. The grounds and shops I loved - so glad we had free time to explore the area. Arlington Natl Cemetery was another high point of this tour. The Space Museum was a little disappointing- I think I should have gone to another museum. Most things in the Space museum I had viewed previously at another place. The Farewell dinner was excellent Enjoyed being in such a place. Our Tour Director was fabulous! Had us going the right place at the right time! The Marriott Hotel bar was the only downer— service was difficult to get and not because they were busy The Marriott breakfasts were very nice and service great! The step on guide in Richmond left a lot to be desired. She was very vague-“over there”. It was hot and she made people walk far who could not walk well, especially in the heat. We got tired of standing at the capitol. Maybe she could have had pictures for us along the river- we never knew where she was talking about. These are the main points I wanted to pass on

Loved the hotels and food. Mike was great! Love history. Your is the perfect amount of time. We did not spend hours on a bus. Plenty of time to enjoy meals without feeling rushed.

There were many important sites included in the tour, but so many that it limited time at each site. The restaurants / food choices were excellent.

My only concern about this trip is the pace of the first day and the lack of a meet and greet with the group on what is supposed to be the first day. Also the final meal location and menu left a lot to be desired. Food and cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. No ambiance at all. I suggest changing the location.
