For almost ten years, the Collette Foundation has been a key supporter of the Tenderfeet Education Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. Many lives have been touched by the special work done there, including that of Collins (age 14) and his single mother.
Collins has attended Tenderfeet for over 10 years. It has helped him tremendously. Yet, there have been many times when he was unable to attend school. His home is far from Tenderfeet, which makes for an arduous journey and at times, would prevent him from making the trip.
Recently, Collins started boarding at Tenderfeet, and he is thriving. Having the opportunity to stay at the school affords him a fantastic opportunity. It has made a world of difference. He is excelling academically and his mother and the staff couldn’t be more thrilled with his progress.
