During her college summer breaks, Jaclyn Leibl-Cote worked as a Collette tour guide, leading itineraries across parts of Canada or through Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
Now as the company’s president and CEO, Leibl-Cote goes along to learn what their customers look for in them.
“I try to ride on a tour at least once a year when I can with travellers,” said Leibl-Cote. “Because, to me, you want to understand what makes them tick. And we actually encourage our team to do the same, to really experience what a tour is, who our travellers are.”
For Leibl-Cote, working in tourism is also a family thing. She is a third-generation Collette employee.
