Temperatures typically range from the 50s and low 60s°F (10-17°C) making it a delightful season for exploring the picturesque British landscapes. Be sure to pack layers and a raincoat to stay comfortable and enjoy the enchanting beauty of England's springtime.

Summer: Summer is one of the most popular times for tourists to visit the UK, with June and July being particularly lively months. The weather is warmer, with highs in the 70s°F (21-26°C), and England comes alive with plenty of crowds and locals out and about. Travellers can expect more crowds at top attractions, so it's a great idea to plan ahead. With the nicer weather, it's an excellent time to enjoy outdoor activities, and the region experiences up to 18 hours of daylight in summer, giving ample time to soak in the sun's rays and beautiful landscapes. But remember, this is England, so always be prepared for rain, even during the best weather. In August, many locals take holidays, making major cities like London calmer and quieter. Edinburgh, with its famous festivals, is particularly lively with crowds in August. Whether you're eating ice cream by the seaside or exploring historic sites, summer in the UK offers a delightful holiday.

Fall: Experience the beautiful change of colours as the leaves turn to a golden hue — a photographer’s dream. Top attractions continue to be busy through September with pleasant weather for sightseeing. By mid-October, crowds have dwindled, making it an enjoyable time to explore top attractions. Autumn weather can dip into the upper 40s°F (9-10°C) at night and 60s°F (16-17°C) during the day. Fall evenings are cool and crisp, with dark setting in around 7 p.m. It's wise to pack a light rain jacket and layers, including a scarf and hat for cooler mornings or evenings. The serene atmosphere of autumn makes it a perfect time to visit the UK and truly appreciate its natural beauty and history.
