Hard to reduce it to just one favorite…I enjoyed the 2 river cruises, all the game drives and wildlife, my drivers (Kingsley-Chobe & Answer-Pilanesberg), walking along Victoria Falls, Thys, my Collete guide, having a memorial tree planted in Elephant Sanctuary, staying at Wallow Lodge & Ivory Tree, drinking glasses of Pinotage, catamaran cruise in Cape Town and showers outdoors! I would definitely recommend this tour to others!

My favorite part of this trip was experiencing the wildlife up close, learning about the local culture, and sharing it all with such a wonderful group. I really appreciated how Katrina and Thys kept us on track and made sure we were safe throughout the journey. It was a beautiful experience, and I would absolutely do it again in the future. I also loved how organized Collette was—every detail was thoughtfully planned. I would definitely travel with Collette and Ann’s Adventure again.

Best trip I have ever been on. The accommodations were first class. Katrina and Thys. did a great job keeping track of everything and everyone and kept it fun and enjoyable. Fellow travelers were great and made new friends. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Great trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed all the safaris and saw lots of animals. I could do more safaris. My trip exceeded my expectations. Tour manager Rudy was phenomenal. He communicated everything clearly, keeping us engaged in whatever we were doing and feeling very safe. I believe he went above and beyond. Zimbabwe was my favorite part of our trip, from the unique accommodations, Victoria Falls, animals, the hosted lunch with a local family and the Elephant Trust. Overall it was an amazing experience for both me and my 15yo niece.

The amount of animals we were able to see was truly amazing. We were surprised when we were told that we would be viewing the great migration. It was awesome!!! Most of the accommodations were really nice and the people were kind. A few of the days were pretty hot but our driver and tour guide made sure we were aware of the heat. It was the most incredible trip we’ve ever taken.

East Africa is best from September to January for coastal activities and July or October for the Great Migration.
