GLOBAL
In India, Collette works with Akshaya Patra. This program provides fresh meals to about 14,000 schools in India using 34 regional industrial kitchens. The meals give the students nutrition they might not otherwise get, empowering them to learn. Between 2017 and 2018, we’ve donated over 180,000 meals as part of our Million Meals initiative.
VISIT WEBSITEIn Cambodia, we partner with JWOC (Journeys Within Our Community), which provides education opportunities for the youth of Cambodia. In 2018, we funded 100 students to get crucial training in English, Art, Science, and IT to address a skill gap and empower community members to support themselves.
VISIT WEBSITEIn Costa Rica, Collette partners with CEPIA, (Culture, Education and Psychology for Infants and Adolescents). In 2017 and 2018, we funded 5 girls’ clubs in which the girls, identified as living in poverty or vulnerable situations, have a weekly two-hour workshop about girls’ rights, the importance of education, health and nutrition, financial management, community participation, and improving their well-being.
VISIT WEBSITECollette’s main partner during our “Million Meals” campaign was Rise Against Hunger, a leading hunger relief organization trying to end hunger by 2030. This organization facilitated volunteer events for us over the course of 2016-2018. During that time, we packaged a combined 400,000+ meals that went all over the world to populations most vulnerable to acute hunger.
VISIT WEBSITECollette proudly supports Edesia, a Rhode Island organization whose mission is to help treat and prevent malnutrition in the world’s most vulnerable populations. Between 2016 and 2018, through our “Million Meals” campaign, Collette’s support covered approximately 726 courses of treatment.
VISIT WEBSITECollette supports the Knysna Education Trust in South Africa. This program creates schools for deprived children in the Knysna Township. In 2018, we funded a school lunch program to decrease malnutrition and increase learning for 100 children for the full school year.
VISIT WEBSITEIn Ecuador, Collette works with Children International. Children International has five community centers in Quito. They provide a haven for children with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty by providing educational opportunities, health and nutritional services, and after-school programs. Collette’s grant helped support the creation of a clinic that distributes supplements and nutritional information to moderate and severely malnourished children.

The Rhode Island Food Bank distributes food to people in need through a statewide network of 155 member agencies like pantries, meal sites, shelters, youth programs and senior centers. Their goal is to alleviate hunger and improve the quality of life in Collette’s headquarters’ state, Rhode Island. Collette has supported this organization for years as a bedrock of Rhode Island’s approach to hunger alleviation.
VISIT WEBSITEThe mission of Children’s Friend is to provide Rhode Island’s youngest, poorest and most vulnerable children with a happy, healthy start in life. Collette’s employees have annually adopted families in need for Children’s Friend’s Spirit of Giving drive during the holiday season and have held drives for baby supplies, school supplies, and backpacks benefiting low income families.
VISIT WEBSITEThe Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket’s mission is to inspire and enable the young people of Pawtucket, especially those with the greatest need, to realize their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible and caring citizens. Collette has supported the club for many years for their excellence in giving our local youth the skills and support they need to succeed.
VISIT WEBSITEThe mission of City Year is to unite young people from diverse backgrounds for a year of service to keep students in school and on track. Collette is proud to support the Whole School Whole Child program which provides tutoring, attendance coaching, and after school programming to six partner schools in Rhode Island.
