The tours we were given by locals were wonderful, the people guided with knowledge and passion. The people of coastal Maine were friendly and excited to tell their story. The area was beautiful!!! I was expecting more meals provided, we had 2 dinners and one lunch; was expensive to eat out. And we had more free time than was needed. Our tour guide had only been to the area once (just prior to our tour) so wasn't much help. Wasn't very friendly at first but warmed up toward the end of the trip. He did handle any issues along the way very effectively. The bus was the most unprofessional person, in his attire, demeanor and helpfulness.....wouldn't even offer help to the older people (this was a senior trip) while getting on and off the bus. Would maybe travel with Collette one more time to give a fair evaluation.

Enjoyed Bar Harbor and the accommodations. Good bus driver. Conscientious tour guide. Would not recommend Portland walking tour. Not very interesting. Nice lady picked us up promptly at airport. Good shuttle driver got us to the airport.Charlene Gabrielson

The oyster farm and the botanical garden were the outstanding events of the tour. The small size of the tour group, the excellent bus, and the good accommodations made the tour very comfortable. The amiability of the tour manager and bus driver added much to make it pleasurable. As an 88 year old retired surgeon I was able to keep up with the pace.Duane Freier

I have always wanted to visit Maine, and this tour was a great introduction! I’m hard pressed to pick just one experience as better than another, but Bar Harbor was my favorite location to visit. I loved how walkable the town is, the shopping, the restaurants, & the perfect weather!DiAnne Allison

Well Don couldn't be any better. I have gone on tours with other companies and he can't be beat. One of the things is like when we got into Bar Harbor just before Dark and if want to eat at a decent hour you have to scramble to find a place to eat supper cause that was on our own. Usual supper time for me is 6 PM just saying. bus driver was super good too. oh loved the place picked for the get to know you meal. Was fun and really good ice breaker. Did like that there were plenty of bus breaks. Don kept us informed of what to expect all the way. ok Hotels they were Good not not quite hit the excellent button yet.

Too many unnecessary stops for bathroom breaks. Stopped in towns with nothing to do. Should have gone directly to the nice hotels and should have never stayed at the last motel. A Motel for a tour at this price was unacceptable.
