All in all, it was a first-class tour. Patagonia was amazingly, breath takingly beautiful. Our tour manager Cristobal was outstanding. A very dedicated, personable, knowledgeable and caring person who showed interest in all 24 of us on the tour. My husband & I would like to take another tour with him. Accommodations were first class. The only negative mention about the accommodations was the Remota Patagonia Lodge, although unusual, interesting architecture & lovely setting, we wish it was closer to Puerto Natales as we would have liked to have had more time to explore. The 4 days cruise aboard the Ventus Australis was exceptional, the service, food and knowledgeable crew, some of whom were our onshore guides. Most of the tour inclusions were excellent. My most memorable experiences were visiting the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier near El Calafate (some parts of the glacier inspired the look of a beautiful ice cathedral with sterling blue stained-glass windows), Torres del Paine National Park with its majestic mountains, aqua glacial waters and wild life (the good weather gods were with us to see all there was to see!), a Zodiac trip to Tucker Islets to see close-up the Magellan penguins and the chance to disembark at Cape Horn National Park, the "end of the earth". I was disappointed we did not have enough time to go for a hike at Tierra del Fuego National Park. The tour of Buenos Aires at the beginning of our trip was good but wish we had a chance to spend more time in the La Boca neighborhood.

This was one of our favorite tours ever. We loved our itinerary and our group. Our Manager Sol was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, so personable, and attuned to the needs of the group. I could not recommend Sol more. The highlight of the trip for us was the trip through the Straits of Magellan on the Australis and all of the amazing landings and sights all the way to Ushuaia. We would have loved an extra day at Ushuaia!

Extra boat ride user pay to petit Moreno unnecessary and a boondoggle. Guide in Buenos Aires ordinary…left out much interesting info we had from our own guide the previous days. Boat waiter particularly helpful. Nature guides in parks and on ground in Patagonia excellent. Calafate hotel good views but poor food and service. Great hotels in B.A.

Getting to see the glaciers was very important to us. Overall the trip was great with the exception of the Remota Hotel where my wife tripped on a crazy architectural floor design that could have taken her life and no one at the hotel cared to even help. We ended up going to the Emergency Room and her getting 5 stitches on her forehead. Collette should lose this hotel …really bad customer service!

Great mix of natural wonders, wildlife sightings, towns and countryside , and a chance to experience this part of the world. Stella Australis was perfect — not too fancy or upscale, but a relaxed comfortable atmosphere and wonderful knowledgeable staff. Enrique is a great Tour Manager— love traveling with him ( 2nd time)

I enjoyed our Patagonia tour so much. Our tour director, Cristobal, made everything fun while keeping track of the details and assuring that everything went smoothly. Our twenty-person group was great- the perfect size for making new friends without being unwieldy. The scenery was very beautiful and the cruise portion of the trip felt like a bit of an adventure— we were seeing things that most people don’t get the opportunity to experience. I loved going out in a zodiac to view the Magellanic Penguins and having dolphins swimming along side, playing with us!

It was an amazing experience, a trip of a lifetime. Just had an issue with the hotel in el Calafate with no air conditioning. There should be a wine tasting included since we are trying various Malbec wines.
