Why visit London
Food
London is a foodie city where those with an adventurous palate never leave hungry. While the city provides an array of iconic English dishes to enjoy, the cultural melting pot represented here lends itself to a variety of delicious ethnic cuisines. Our local experts are ready to show you the culinary delights of London.
Curry
Besides India itself, the most delectable curry is arguably served up in London. Whether your taste buds relish the heat of a vindaloo or prefer a milder korma, succulent Indian dishes are easy to find. Head to Brick Lane Street in the city's Bangladeshi-Sylheti community and choose from one of the many famous curry houses.
Sunday Roast
For a hearty meal capable of warming you on the coldest winter’s day, savour a Sunday Roast. A traditional roast comes with meat, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, and of course, Yorkshire pudding. We love capping off adventures in London with this classic roast at a local Kensington restaurant.
Cockles
If you want to blend in with the locals, try the seafood treat known to Londoners as cockles. A small type of clam, this tiny shellfish has been an inexpensive staple food of East End Londoners for decades. For those who enjoy littleneck clams, cockles are a real treat!
Eton Mess
Combining broken meringue, cream, and strawberries, this sweet treat was dubbed “Eton mess” as it was most traditionally served at Eton College's annual cricket game. This indulgence is always a favourite of our guests.
